No. 2 Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) got things started with an alley-oop dunk off the backboard in the opening minutes Thursday against No. 12 Garfield (Seattle, Wash.) in the GEICO Nationals quarterfinals.

That was a sign of things to come as Oak Hill rolled to a 75-53 victory over Washington's Class 3A state champions in New York.

With Kentucky-bound guard Keldon Johnson going out in the first quarter with an injury, future Florida Gator Keyontae Johnson (no relation) stepped up and led the way with 19 points and nine rebounds.

Will Richardson (17 points, five assists, four rebounds), David McCormack (15 points, 10 rebounds) and Akrum Ahemed (12 points) also finished in double figures for the Warriors.

Oak Hill Academy (44-1) will meet University (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) on Friday in the semifinals. Oak Hill won an earlier meeting between the two teams this season at the Spalding Hoophall Classic.

Garfield (28-2) was held to its lowest point total of the season. Jamon Kemp was the only player in double figures with 11 points.
