Recap: Pinellas Park Patriots vs. Hollins Royals

Pinellas Park played against Hollins and won via forfeit.

Despite the loss, Hollins saw an underclassman step up: Summer Morgan scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Morgan set a new season high mark in blocks with three. The team also got some help courtesy of Danaja Moss, who scored five points along with eight rebounds.

Even though they lost, Hollins were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Pinellas Park's victory ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Hollins, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinellas Park will take on Tarpon Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Tarpon Springs comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Hollins, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Largo at 8:00 p.m. on December 7th. Largo presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hollins in Florida (Largo is ranked 292nd, while Hollins is ranked 594th).
