Preview: Arcadia Apaches vs. Troy Warriors

Two dominant guards in Noa Eteuati-Edwards and Josh King are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Arcadia Apaches will take on the Troy Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Arcadia had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the SkyHawks by a score of 69-56. Given Arcadia's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 165th, while Summit is ranked 331st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Arcadia's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordan Dollar led the charge by scoring 20 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Eteuati-Edwards, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Troy had just enough and edged Liberty out 75-73 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Troy.

Arcadia has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. As for Troy, they pushed their record up to 20-10 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
