Basketball Recap: London's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Six

London had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They managed a 51-46 win over the Bellefontaine Chieftains. This was a revenge game for the Red Raiders: when they faced off against the Chieftains back in December of 2024, they had to take a 48-41 defeat.

Bellefontaine's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tiffany Boop, who posted 13 points and five steals. The dominant performance gave Boop a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Quinlan Zedeker, who scored nine points along with seven boards and five assists.

London has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Bellefontaine, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-6.

London will take on Hayes at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Bellefontaine has already played their next contest (against Harvest Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
