Basketball Recap: Cocke County Has No Trouble Against Gordonsville

Cocke County's tournament run continued when they took on Gordonsville on Monday. The Cocke County Fighting Cocks took down the Gordonsville Tigers 71-57.

Cocke County's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Gordonsville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5-1.

Cocke County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 65-62 loss against Fulton on the 3rd. As for Gordonsville, they will square off against Clarkrange at 6:00 p.m. on January 7th. Clarkrange is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.9 points per game this season.
