Basketball Recap: Woodland Regional Comes Up Short

Woodland Regional and Sheehan squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Woodland Regional had to settle for second. They took a 79-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sheehan Titans. The Hawks have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Woodland Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Sheehan, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-12 record.

Woodland Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sheehan, they will take on Cromwell at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sheehan has given up an average of 66.1 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
