McDowell won the last time they faced Mountain Heritage and things went their way on Wednesday too. The McDowell Titans put the hurt on the Mountain Heritage Cougars with a sharp 13-3 victory.
Kaine Boone made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Boone was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
In other pitching news, McDowell got a great performance from Hayden Shelton as he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.
