Basketball Game Preview: Norcom Greyhounds vs. Norview Pilots

Norcom is 1-9 against Norview since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Norcom Greyhounds will host the Norview Pilots at 5:30 p.m. Norcom has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Wednesday, Norcom was fully in charge, breezing past Churchland 52-25. The Greyhounds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Norview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against Manor, falling 94-27. While losing is never fun, the Pilots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Mustangs are ranked 18th).

Norcom's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Norview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Norcom was able to grind out a solid victory over Norview in their previous matchup back in January, winning 42-29. Does Norcom have another victory up their sleeve, or will Norview turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
