Softball Recap: Pinellas Park Comes Up Short

Pinellas Park and Northeast squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Pinellas Park had to settle for second. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 8-1. The Patriots have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Pinellas Park saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Wagner, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

Pinellas Park's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Northeast, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

As of now, neither Pinellas Park nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
