Basketball Recap: Arabia Mountain Snags Sixth Victory in Last Eight Games

Arabia Mountain won the last time they faced Shiloh and things went their way on Friday too. The Arabia Mountain Rams enjoyed a cozy 72-55 victory over the Shiloh Generals. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Generals are ranked 222nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Arabia Mountain has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Shiloh, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-11.

When Arabia Mountain and Shiloh next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Arabia Mountain will try to stop Woodward Academy's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Shiloh will take on Tri-Cities and their 11-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
