Soccer Recap: Bartram Trail Finishes Even with Fleming Island

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Bartram Trail was forced to settle for a draw on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Fleming Island Golden Eagles could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Brady Bless and Michael Russell scored both of Bartram Trail's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

With that draw, Bartram Trail's record moves to 7-2-4. As for Fleming Island, they moved theirs to 9-1-6.

Bartram Trail didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against St. Joseph Academy on the 10th. As for Fleming Island, they are taking a road trip to challenge Oakleaf at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday. Fleming Island is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.
