West Branch not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 16th (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Homer-Center Wildcats 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.
West Branch's got stronger as the match went on, holding Homer-Center to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-6.
Homer-Center lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Emma-Lee Rouser, who had nine kills, five digs, and three blocks. She has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 27 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlyn Yount, who had 17 assists.
