Softball Recap: Hillcrest Has No Trouble Against Rigby

Hillcrest hadn't done well against Rigby recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 23-11 margin over the Trojans. The game marked the Knights' most dominant win of the season so far.

Hillcrest now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Rigby, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillcrest will take on Idaho Falls at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Rigby, they will square off against Thunder Ridge at 3:30 p.m. on the 15th.
