Softball Recap: Ramsey Comes Up Short

Ramsey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-4 to the Vandalia Vandals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Ramsey's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Vandalia, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-13 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ramsey will welcome Martinsville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bluestreaks have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Vandalia, they will face off against Litchfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
