It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Smithtown East had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They blew past the Hauppauge Eagles 3-0. The win was familiar territory for the Bulls, who have now won nine matchups in a row.

Smithtown East was led to victory by Lily Sullivan and Rosemarie Remsen. Sullivan had 20 digs and three assists, while Remsen had six digs and three aces. That's the most digs Remsen has posted over her last six matches.

Smithtown East's victory bumped their record up to 28-4-5. As for Hauppauge, with the loss, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-5.
