Basketball Game Preview: Manor Mustangs vs. Hutto Hippos

For the first time this season, Manor will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They are taking a road trip to challenge the Hutto Hippos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Manor has given up an average of 50.2 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Manor is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 69-28 loss at the hands of Del Rio. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hutto didn't have too much trouble with Brazoswood on Saturday as they won 65-50. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hippos.

Hutto's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Manor, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Manor took a serious blow against Hutto in their previous matchup back in January, falling 89-34. Thankfully for the Mustangs, Jacob Bell (who went 9-for-15 on his way to 25 points in addition to seven boards and six steals) won't be suiting up this time.
