Baseball Recap: North Valleys Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Valleys can now relate to. They came up short against the Elko Indians on Friday, falling 6-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

North Valleys' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-9. As for Elko, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-16 record this season.

North Valleys does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Elko, they have already played their next game, an 18-4 loss against Fernley on the 9th.
