Basketball Recap: Parkville Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Parkville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 40-22 victory over the Owings Mills Golden Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 34-25 back in January.

Parkville pushed their record up to 5-14 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.3 points over those games. As for Owings Mills, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-15-1.

Parkville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Owings Mills, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lansdowne at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
