Baseball Recap: Maricopa Institute of Technology Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Maricopa Institute of Technology's offense. They lost 19-0 to the Heritage Academy Heroes on Monday. The Iron Eagles have struggled against the Heroes recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Maricopa Institute of Technology's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-2. As for Heritage Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maricopa Institute of Technology will head out to challenge Harvest Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heritage Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against East Valley Athletes for Christ at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
