Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Monett

Monett waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Crane Pirates. That's more bragging rights for the Cubs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Monett was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 25-22, 25-8.

Among those leading the charge was Addison Branch, who had ten digs.

Monett was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Monett's victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Crane, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3-1.

Monett wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Diamond on the 2nd. Crane has also already played their next contest (against Fordland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
