Basketball Recap: Eagle Academy Comes Up Short

On Monday, Eagle Academy were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 43-37 to Global Studies. Eagle Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eagle Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Global Studies, they moved to 1-1 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eagle Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Weequahic at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Global Studies, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Dayton at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
