Baseball Game Preview: Northeastern Jets vs. West Liberty-Salem Tigers

For the second straight game, Northeastern will face off against West Liberty-Salem. The Jets will challenge the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Northeastern is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past West Liberty-Salem 14-4 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jets.

For West Liberty-Salem's part, Isaac Sertell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was Sertell's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Dallas Koons, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Northeastern's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for West Liberty-Salem, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.
