Baseball Game Preview: Darlington Falcons vs. Lower Richland Diamond Hornets

The Darlington Falcons will take on the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Darlington is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Darlington came up short against South Florence on Thursday, falling 19-4.

Darlington saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chad Rubin, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave Rubin a new career-high. Corey Martin also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Lower Richland lost 21-1 to Hartsville on Thursday. The Diamond Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Darlington's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lower Richland, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.
