Softball Recap: Nemaha Central Takes a Loss

Nemaha Central lost against Jefferson West on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Thunder took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nemaha Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Jefferson West, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nemaha Central will square off against Marysville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson West, they will take on Holton in a tournament on Saturday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
