Softball Recap: Thunder Ridge Comes Up Short

Thunder Ridge lost against Rocky Mountain on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Thunder Ridge lost 11-1 to Rocky Mountain. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Thunder Ridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Giulia Johns, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Kenley Butler also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Thunder Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Rocky Mountain, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thunder Ridge will head out to challenge Blackfoot at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Blackfoot's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Thunder Ridge's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Rocky Mountain, they will venture away from home to face off against Centennial at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rocky Mountain's pitchers better be ready for this one: Centennial has averaged an impressive 9.7 runs per game this season.
