With a playoff win on the line, Apopka rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 63-13 win over the Lake Brantley Patriots. The Blue Darters' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Apopka's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jhenelle Francis, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten steals. Francis is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Amirah Nurse, who posted five points in addition to 11 steals and six boards.

The victory (which was Apopka's third in a row) raised their record to 9-12. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.3 points. As for Lake Brantley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Apopka will face off against Ocoee on Thursday. Ocoee will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Apopka surely won't give up without a fight. Lake Brantley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
