Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Saint Viator). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Northside Mustangs 70-36. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  matchups by 22  points or more this season.
Saint Viator found their leader in sophomore  Bella Gounaris, who  posted 18  points in addition to six  rebounds and four  steals. The dominant performance gave  Gounaris a new career-high in  steals.  Ava Garcia was another key player,  dropping  a double-double on ten points and 11  boards.
 Saint Viator was working as a unit and  finished the game with 14  assists. That's the most  assists they've managed all season.
Saint Viator's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 15-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Northside, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.
 Saint Viator has already played their next contest,  a  53-30  victory against Lake Forest on the 21st. As for Northside, they will welcome Ogden International  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
