After losing to Indian Valley the last time they met, Tuscarawas Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Trojans blew past the Braves 3-0 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Tuscarawas Valley got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 31-29, 25-20, 25-23.

Adidason Spivey paced Tuscarawas Valley's offense, picking up 13 kills. Spivey got some help from Elli Wallick and her 26 assists. Leah Howard controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Indian Valley's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Gionna Miles, who had 26 digs and four assists, and Zoey Braun, who had 11 digs and two assists. Miles is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 15 games she's played.

Tuscarawas Valley's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Indian Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Coming up, Tuscarawas Valley will head out to challenge Sandy Valley at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indian Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Claymont on the 27th.
