Basketball Game Preview: Greece Olympia Spartans vs. Brighton Bruins

The Greece Olympia Spartans will venture away from home to take on the Brighton Bruins at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Greece Olympia knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Brighton likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Greece Olympia came up short against Greece Athena and fell 70-57. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Brighton ended up a good deal behind Webster Schroeder on Friday and lost 60-46. The match marked the Bruins' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Brighton and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for Greece Olympia, their record is now 8-12.

Greece Olympia skirted past Brighton 58-55 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Greece Olympia repeat their success, or does Brighton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
