Manheim Township entered their tilt with Cedar Cliff on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Colts by a score of 6-3. For the Blue Streaks, this counts as revenge for the 11-0 win the Colts walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2017.

Nolan Peters tossed a big game, tossing 6.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Manheim Township saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dionisio Acosta, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Manheim Township's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cedar Cliff, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manheim Township will face off against Ephrata at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Blue Streaks 3, the Mountaineers 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Cedar Cliff, they will take on Central Dauphin at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
