Jake Cummings made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Cummings was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Dylan Whitlinger was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high.
