Soccer Recap: Sun Valley Takes a Loss

Sun Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Charlotte Catholic Cougars, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Charlotte Catholic this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 last Thursday.

Sun Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-12-2. As for Charlotte Catholic, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sun Valley is set to face off against their familiar foe Cuthbertson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Charlotte Catholic will take on rival Marvin Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
