Soccer Recap: Cocoa Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Cocoa was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Eau Gallie Commodores could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Cocoa's goal came courtesy of Sophia Bass, who's now up to five this season.

With that draw, Cocoa's record moves to 3-1-1. Meanwhile, Eau Gallie's record is now 2-7-2.

Cocoa will host Oak Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cocoa is facing Oak Ridge at the right time seeing as Oak Ridge is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Eau Gallie, they will take on Bayside in a tournament on Wednesday. Bayside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.
