Basketball Recap: Marlborough Comes Up Short

Marlborough is still winless after their matchup against Keefe Tech on Sunday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Keefe Tech Broncos. The Panthers were probably out for revenge after losing 47-46 to them when the teams met back in February of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Logan Greenlaw continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Keefe Tech, putting up 20 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Greenlaw has scored at least a third of Keefe Tech's points. Justice Cesar was another key player, posting 13 points.

Marlborough's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Keefe Tech, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Marlborough wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-57 loss against Ashland on the 30th. Keefe Tech has also already played their next game, a 51-45 defeat against Advanced Math & Science Academy on the 30th.
