Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Overton). They claimed a resounding 87-32 victory over the Carlisle Indians. The win was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Overton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Christian Hall, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 14 points in addition to seven steals and five boards. The dominant performance gave Hall a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Joey Zalman, who posted 13 points along with seven assists and four steals.

Overton was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.

Overton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Carlisle, they dropped their record down to 4-23 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Overton and Carlisle will both be playing Alto the next time they take the court. Overton will host Alto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Carlisle will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
