Basketball Recap: LaGrange Comes Up Short

LaGrange was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 63-47 bruising from the Eunice Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 282nd, while the Bobcats are ranked 134th).

LaGrange's loss dropped their record down to 5-24. As for Eunice, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 18-21.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. LaGrange will host DeRidder at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. LaGrange is facing DeRidder at the right time seeing as DeRidder is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Eunice has already played their next contest (against Leesville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
