Soccer Recap: East Union's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Oakdale last Thursday, East Union came back down to earth. The East Union Lancers fell 3-1 to the Patterson Tigers on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 308th, while the Tigers are ranked 85th).

East Union's goal came courtesy of Carlos Heredia, who's now up to two this season.

East Union's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4-6. As for Patterson, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-0-4 record this season.

East Union didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Mountain House on the 23rd. Patterson has also already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Central Catholic on the 23rd.
