Troy had already won 12 in a row and they went ahead and made it 13 on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Northeast Bradford Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 25-10.
Aryana Andrus paced Troy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Andrus got some help from Brenna Jackson and her 24 assists. Haidyn Watson controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.
Troy's win bumped their record up to 23-2-1. As for Northeast Bradford, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
Coming up, Troy will challenge Cowanesque Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northeast Bradford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
