Basketball Game Preview: River View Panthers vs. Goldendale Timberwolves

River View is on an 11-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Goldendale a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The River View Panthers will host the Goldendale Timberwolves at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, River View came up short against Columbia and fell 44-36. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 294th, while the Coyotes are ranked 96th).

Meanwhile, Goldendale also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to White Swan by a score of 58-47.

Goldendale's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for River View, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

River View was taken down by Goldendale 56-18 when the teams last played back in December of 2021. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point River View was down 41-6.
