A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jaguars challenge the Boynton Beach Tigers on Thursday... Boynton Beach took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Dreyfoos School of the Arts, who comes in off a win.

Dreyfoos School of the Arts took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Royal Palm Beach 42-15. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Jaguars have posted since November 21, 2024.

Dreyfoos School of the Arts can attribute much of their success to Angelina Nesbitt, who posted 11 points and six rebounds. Kaitlyn Maldonado was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Boynton Beach came up short against Homestead on Friday and fell 48-40. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while the Broncos are ranked 131st).

Boynton Beach's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9.
