Valley Christian is 8-1 against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Valley Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Harker last Saturday. The Warriors walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory was able to grind out a solid win over Campolindo last Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Valley Christian skirted past Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory 3-2 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
