Alora Martinez Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Pomona's Alora Martinez, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Martinez picked up two sacks and made five total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Sasha Calanni put up the most rushing yards she's had since back in August on Wednesday. She rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. She got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 54 yards.
Green Mountain's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3. Calanni and Green Mountain will take on Arvada West at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Another Game with at Least Five Total Tackles from Ashley Cortez
Ashley Cortez continued her hot streak on Wednesday by dropping her tenth-straight game with at least five total tackles. She made eight total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception. She is becoming a predictor of Evergreen's success: when she posts at least one interception the team is 3-1 (and 4-5 when she doesn't).
Evergreen is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6. Cortez and Evergreen will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pomona at 9:00 a.m. on October 26th.
