Softball Recap: Apple Valley Comes Up Short

Apple Valley lost to Farmington back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-1. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Apple Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keura Roloff, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Apple Valley now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Farmington, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Apple Valley will venture away from home to square off against Eastview at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Farmington, they will welcome Lakeville North at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.17 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
