Softball Recap: Hoover Comes Up Short

Hoover's last matchup with Orange Beach could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. The Buccaneers came up short against the Makos, falling 15-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Buccaneers have suffered since March 25th.

Hoover's defeat dropped their record down to 17-15. As for Orange Beach, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 35-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hoover will challenge Hazel Green at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orange Beach, they will face off against Fairhope at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
