Baseball Recap: Gulfport Takes a Loss

Gulfport managed to slip by Biloxi the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Gulfport came up short against Biloxi on Friday, falling 12-6. The Admirals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Tolar Raybourn made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Mason Little was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Gulfport's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Biloxi, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Gulfport is set to face off against their familiar foe St. Martin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Biloxi will challenge rival D'Iberville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
