Baseball Recap: Whitewater Whippets vs. Delavan-Darien Comets

Whitewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 6-0 to the Delavan-Darien Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-0 two weeks ago.

Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Delavan-Darien, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Whippets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
