Casey Volker, Gateway's leading hitter, solidified his role on Tuesday. Volker was dynamite, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played.

Volker's strong effort led Gateway over International and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Gators have been struggling at home and they will enter the contest having lost six straight home games dating back to last season.
