Soccer Game Preview: Palmetto Christian Academy vs. Pinewood Prep

Palmetto Christian Academy is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against First Baptist School, sneaking past 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Palmetto Christian Academy was the better team in the second half.

Addison Surratt and Juliet Olson scored all three of Palmetto Christian Academy's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Pinewood Prep faced Philip Simmons in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Pinewood Prep's defense stepped up to hand Philip Simmons a 6-0 shutout. That six goal margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.
