Recap: Linden-Kildare Tigers vs. Big Sandy Wildcats
This season hasn't been kind to the Linden-Kildare Tigers, who are still winless after their eighth contest. They had to suffer through a rough 74-5 loss at the hands of Big Sandy. Linden-Kildare has not had much luck with Big Sandy recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Big Sandy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adrian Petty-johnson, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Malijah Francis was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Linden-Kildare bumped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their 15th straight at home. As for Big Sandy, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-13.
Linden-Kildare will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against McLeod at 7:30 p.m. McLeod is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games. As for Big Sandy, they will head out on the road to challenge Ore City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
