Yosemite and Sierra are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Badgers will host the Chieftains at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Yosemite came up short against Minarets and fell 5-2. The Badgers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Sierra hadn't done well against Chowchilla recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Chieftains walked away with an 8-5 win over the Tribe. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Chieftains as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Leo Oliver, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.

Yosemite's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Sierra, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.

Yosemite couldn't quite get it done against Sierra in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 as they fell 3-0. Can the Badgers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
